I have been asked numerous times: "Steve, I want to have a PBR at my house, how can I do that if I don't have anyone to do the meeting for me?"
Here's the "Trick" - Just kidding, there is no trick.
Invite people that you think may be interested. Arrange it as a fun party, not a business party.
"Hey, I just got into a Gold and Silver Business. If you are interested, I am having a get together at my house."
What you say from there is up to you but remember this, the presentation that you are going to show at the PBR will explain everything.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please let your party goers know what type of event they are attending. It's painful to hear "You had me into come to this?"
Your true friends will most likely come anyway, if you are honest.
Once you have invited a group of people/friends, there are some ways to help them commit to attending.
*Dedicate people to bring stuff: Pretzels, Chips, Ice, Soda, Water, etc...
*Let them know what time YOU will pick them up.
*Have them car pool with each other.
*It's okay to call them earlier in the day to make sure they are coming. It's not "Are you still coming?" but "I'll see you at 7:00 tonight"
